Digest Each Moment

Welcome back, new intention, new mantra to think about for the yoga practice, or your practice in general. So this month, we’re working on digestion each moment. The concept that I was thinking about, which I’m also working on myself, is this idea of slowing down and appreciate the magic of the everyday. The small little, or big, moments that we can appreciate when we don’t move so fast. One quote that I thought I’d throw out, which I felt was really lovely, is by Ralph Waldo Emerson-

“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety. Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in. Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This new day is too dear, with it's hopes and invitations, to wast a moment on yesterdays.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hope this brings you a moment of inspiration for your day! Sending so much love, namaste
